Welcome to my nightmare… tales from a dead man!

“Reliable friends who do what they say are like cool drinks in the sweltering heat… totally refreshing and a blessing!”

Good morning… live from Texas Death Watch… Texas Death row… home of the never-ending pancakes, yep it’s breakfast time again and the usual cold and gooey pancakes have just been offered to me, and with a friendly smile I simply say “hell no thank you”. HA! Seriously, this would of ruined the day for sure but I’ve been sitting here looking out my little window at this beautiful full moon. The view from my death watch window is the backside of the wall from another pod of regular death row… but it’s a very calming sight. I told both of my neighbors’ as soon as I saw it and their lights are now on. Probably writing someone to share the moment. It’s the little things such as a full moon, a kind word or even a smile that’s missed the most behind these walls of death.

Speaking of the walls of death, the neighbor to my right has 16 days to live and the neighbor to my left has 31 days… the month of June is gonna be a helluva emotional ride, and if your loved one is here on this section of death please realize that a simple card means the world to them. Also please be very aware of this next issue I’m about to bring to your attention. Someone who I’m not gonna mention any names is deliberately holding our death watch mail, no reason, just a grotesquely inefficient hate filled State employee and we all need for all of the viewers to complain to Huntsville of this problem.

This is a direct quote of State Policy: Incoming and outgoing mail for offenders whose mail “is” being monitored may be processed 48 hours of receipt, if necessary, to allow unit staff to properly examine correspondence. (end of quote)

Folks this is not happening for us here on death watch, and it does not matter if they are short handed or if it’s just because of the hate filled secret screener not wanting to do her job. It’s a direct violation and I will even go further to explain this in the next paragraph here.

A few weeks ago someone at this place decided they needed to place an Ad-seg prisoner who had recently embarrassed the state of Texas by obtaining a firearm, taking a state van and escaped on his way to medical… all of this had happened at another prison here in Texas… nothing to do with death row and damn sure nothing to do with death watch, but as I said, someone decided to place him in our section a few cells down.

For one thing, regular state prisoners are not allowed near death row and surely not around the walking dead men such as us here on death watch… as soon as this escapee arrives our mail really started taking longer than usual to be processed, and that wrong and causing all of us unneeded stress. For example it does not take 10 to 12 days to get mail from this unit to a town only miles away from Livingston but that’s exactly what’s happening. Being on death watch with limited days to live our mail should be the first screened and delivered but it’s not. These people are too concerned with all these others who have no business back here with death row in the first place. The point I’m making, this escapee prisoner being on our section is the reason our mail “rights” are being violated.

This prisoner has now been sent on bench warrant which means he was shuffled to a court hearing and since he has left our section our mail has, at a slow pace, started to flow again. But this is just a temporary thing because this regular Ad-seg prisoner will be back to our section which should not be allowed what so ever. The mail is all we have; the injustice of this issue is seriously affecting every one of us.

The next issue I wanted to bring to the attention of everyone who is viewing this blog is about the feeding process, as you will remember from one of my earlier blogs, I mentioned how lots of people were becoming sick with watery insides… obviously due to this place and their feeding process of all of us caged animals… well the “ACA” (which I don’t know what that stands for) came rolling through here last week and caught this kitchen in grave violations and instantly started dumping all the prepared food we were only minutes away from being fed into the trash. I was told this by several officers as well as some of the prisoners who viewed this taking place in the hallway. This is just another one of the issues I’ve been speaking about for a long time and this latest incident is further proof that these conditions continue to get worse and that we are not just making this up as the officials like to claim.

 Well it’s time for me to close this out but before I do, I want to thank each and every one of you out there for the love and support and friendship. We are here on this earth together, we all make mistakes along the way, some more serious than others, but it’s what we learn from our mistakes that really make the difference and I’m a perfect example of this. I walked through life with a one-sided view. Full of hate and stupidity. I had no idea what the true meaning of life was, not until I became one of Texas’ condemned and have since met people from different walks of life that I have beautiful relationships with, I usually kept everyone at arms distance. Life is beautiful when one’s eyes are open!

Welcome to my nightmare… tales from a dead man!

“True American, Red-White-Blue & unbreakable!”

Good morning to each and every one of you out there in the land of the living. The 1st day of May 2011 is already upon us and it amazes me at how fast this year is moving right along. We started our day with the same ole ritual this morning with doughy pancake mix and some applesauce and 90% of this Section has again refused the trays… just as most of the pod does as well. What’s wrong with this place and why would they continue to feed stuff that’s just tossed into the trash because of it being so unfit for human consumption?? This is wasted tax payer money and wasted food, food for which people out in the land of the living are in desperate need of.

 We have the next execution on May 3rd, 2011 but I’m seriously doubtful that this man will be put to death as I’ve said before. The facts of his case are showing the real depth of Ft. Worth’s wide spread corruption and the break down in the appeal process which is to safeguard these things from happening. I’m serious as ever, the incompetent appeal attorney’s are grotesquely inefficient! Just as in my case, it took dozens upon dozens of pro-se motions filed by me to have a true dedicated lap dog attorney who was afraid to bite the hand that feeds him removed from my case. I will never forget the day he came to see me as my appeal was due in 6 months and said he “was” hard at work on my case, and then asked me what my indictment said. I knew that instant that I was doomed to death by this clown. The same clown that was paid over $30,000 to do absolutely nothing. Moral of this story is this… we are not being killed by the State; it’s the rotten attorney’s who are doing it. Thank God I have a Superstar attorney now or I’d be dead already two years back.

They brought yet another man to death watch this past week and it is now almost a full section of condemned, but the moods of these people I’m around are better than most I’ve ever been around since being at this hellish place, we all have our good and bad moments just like everyone in life, but the strength here at death watch is powerful and deeply inspiring.  We all are feeding off each other’s moods so laughter is a must and I’m doing my best to supply this to all that I’m around!

Before I close this out I wanted to say a few more things to everyone who is reading this, friends & enemies alike… remember this, life is short and random chance happens to us all. Never forget to express your love to the ones that mean the most to you because that chance of not being able to is very real. You might be holding onto a petty grudge or just acting childish to someone, let it go and enjoy life while you’re still able.

I know there’s a lot of people who view this site who do not like me, and that’s perfectly alright, I won’t let it wreck my day and I’ll keep on passing out the Texas warmth that’s embedded into me… I’ll keep on smiling!

Unbroken, Unbreakable & one true redneck Red Blooded American!

Till death do us part

Welcome to my nightmare… tales from a dead man!

“Patriotism does not consist of hatred towards other peoples, but of the love of your own…”

Good morning from a really rotten place in Texas… but inside my mind it’s as peaceful and tranquil as ever. We are only a few days away from the next execution and the moods of the others are as an ocean, sometimes swelling, sometimes retreating, like waves constantly shifting. But for the one who is set to die on May 3rd, he is firmly planted into reality and is prepared for whatever his fate and destiny has in store for him. The information I’ve seen on his case, as well as the lack of evidence and the State’s corruption claims, I don’t see him being put to death… if he is, then it’s a cover up to hide the truth.

A wave of food poisoning has rushed thru this place… we have had many people here begging for medical assistance this past week because of the high level of sickness that’s been causing a lot of people to have all their insides turn to liquid, my neighbor being one… throwing up and other ways which I won’t mention in this blog… but if you are human then you know the symptoms of liquid insides. This place has been feeding us like animals here lately and the end result is what I’ve just mentioned… and no one has received any medical treatment.

I’ve been inside my own head and staying focused on the road ahead but each time I venture out to a visit I listen to others around me speaking of the horror stories of the gassings and uses of force… and how they have filled up the other pod which is jail for death row = F Pod. .. and how they have people on food loaf restriction… which is punishment with one’s food! Food loaf is a big block of mushed up who knows what that looks like cornbread… and once you are placed on this restriction you eat food loaf for 7 days… then you get one day of regular food then back to 7 days of food loaf… it would seem the regular sections of death row are in complete chaos with many daily uses of force and many gassings… welcome to 2011… the Unite States of America…

Still un-broken..and a true American till death.

“Easter Morning”

Welcome to my nightmare… Tales from a dead man!

“Is dying as a man more fear then living as a coward?”

Good Easter morning… greetings and respects and many blessings to all! The morning has snuck up on me once again and what a peaceful event it is thus far… the only thing I can hear is the silence, what a beautiful sound it is. I’ve slept late this morning because I was lost inside my dreams, it would seem I was dreaming inside another dream inside a dream… what a thought provoking statement that must be for some, but it’s exactly what happened last night and unless you have never experienced that then it’s hard to explain the feelings it has brought about.

As most of you know I write this from the death watch section on Texas Death Row… there’s now 8 of us here with execution dates inching closer and closer as the hour glass empties its sands of time upon the floor… one man has 10 days, another has 38 days… another has 52… and so on and so on, but I possess 88 days and compared to the others it’s like a life time!

With it being Easter, the next added bit to this blog is most fitting for the day.

“Onward Christian Soldiers”!

Onward Christian soldiers! Marching as to war,

With the cross of Jesus going on before;

Christ, the Royal Master, leads against the foe;

Forward into battle, see His banner go!

Onward Christian soldiers! Marching as to war,

With the cross of Jesus going on before.

Like a mighty Army moves the church of God;

Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod;

We are not divided, all one body we,

One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,

But the Church of Jesus constant will remain;

Gates of hell can never “Gainst” that church prevail,

We have Christs own promise, and that cannot fail.

Onward, then, ye faithful! Join our happy throng,

Blend with ours your voices, in the triumph song;

Glory, praise, and honor unto Christ the King,

This thro’ countless ages men and angels sing.

That was put on my heart for some reason this morning, so it’s meant to be, and with that said and done I’ll close this out. …I still  remain  un-broken!
